Skilled Manufacturing Worker Concept | TIG Welders
Sensors: High-resolution thermal and optical sensors that monitor arc temperature, seam alignment, and weld quality in real time.
End Extenders: The humanoid’s arm features a fully integrated TIG welding tip in place of a traditional hand. Designed for autogenous welding, the end extender includes an internal shielding gas channel, arc stabilization controls, and a compact cooling system.
Process Intelligence: Actively adjust welding parameters—such as amperage, arc length, and travel speed—based on material thickness, heat distribution, and joint geometry. All weld data is logged and transmitted to enterprise systems, enabling full traceability and integration with digital twin and quality control frameworks.
Quality Control Inspector Concept
Sensors: Multi-spectrum visual sensors for surface inspection; laser profilometers for micron-level surface contour mapping; and eddy current sensors for identifying microcracks or delamination beneath composite surfaces.
End Extenders: Interchangeable fingertip probes for rivet depression testing, high-precision tactile pads for detecting micro surface deviations, and extendable borescopic tools for internal structural inspection.
Compliance Integrity: Humanoids operate with zero drift in calibration, zero deviation from SOPs, and zero tolerance for falsification. They are immune to production floor pressure, personal bias, or schedule-related coercion. Their inspection logs are fully auditable and traceable.
